O'Melveny is actively recruiting for an Assistant in our Silicon Valley office. This position is responsible for providing administrative and legal secretarial support to attorneys within various practice groups, and to local managers in firm-wide departments as needed.
The salary range in CA for this role is $85,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enters and edits timesheets.
- Prepares expense reports and processes vendor invoices.
- Schedules travel, meetings, and conferences.
- Opens new matters and coordinates conflict checks.
- Handles client billing, calendaring, file and data maintenance.
- Provides administrative support to local manager in firm-wide departments as needed, such as scheduling, data entry, updating materials, assisting with meetings and events, and other projects as assigned.
- Interacts with clients and all levels of employees within the Firm.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
